Real Heroes Firefighter

Real Heroes Firefighter

Crave’s Real Heroes: Firefighter puts you in the soon-to-be soot-stained boots of a rookie firefighter who has just been assigned to a busy metropolitan fire station.

Featuring Epicenter’s proprietary “Thinking Fire” technology, Real Heroes’ blazes will seem almost alive as they not only attack structures, potential victims and firefighters, but also cause unexpected changes to the environments that will suddenly alter your options and strategies, no two scenarios will play out the same way. Success will depend equally on your mastery of realistic firefighting tools and techniques and on your ability to think and react quickly under pressure.

5 Stars Real Heros: Firefighter
this is a great game it is like fighting the real thing. it would be great to train with

5 Stars A lot like the great arcade game
This game reminds me of the arcade game with the fire-hose you hold and point at the screen. One major difference is that you don’t have to keep feeding quarters into this game!

5 Stars good game
My personal experiences in firefighting, and now lack of a volunteer department close by these days, has led me to purchase this game. I found the flames to react well, the hose reacts well and puts out the fire about the way a real hose would. Using the saw was a bit clunky and tempermental. You have to hit the screen just right to make the cut the way the game wants a surface cut. The jaws were kind of cool in that you have to twist them just like in real life to get the right entry point on say like a car door hinge. I started the game with the tutorial just so i could get used to the controls, but in no time i was knocking back flames. After the tutorial, you get thrust right into a commercial fire, so hang on. One other slight drawback is that in each mission, you find yourself being thrust to do many different jobs, very unlike what a big paid department would be like. For example, after putting out a fire, you get called to do some search and rescue for survivors, then off to hit the deck gun on an engine outside, then working off a ladder truck, then back to fighting a fire in an adjacent building, etc… You will find yourself alone in burning parts of a building without much of a team in a few instances as well. Very much against what you are taught as a firefighter.

But still, all-in-all, this is a fun game and still gets my heart pumping when i see the flames crawling across the ceiling fixing to eat you alive!! I fully understand what the company set out to do in the game, and they did it very well when you consider there have been very few if any games like this ever produced to learn from. Hopefully we will see Firefighter 2 with some new stuff (fireboats, RIT teams, squad based control and interaction (think SOCOM), and maybe even promotion to higher levels to allow full command of all the units on a scene). Maybe i am too hopeful, but it could happen….

5 Stars Fun and Intense
Bought this game for my 8 year old. He loves and man, it is fun for adults too. No violence, real situations, and great price. RECOMMEND!!

4 Stars Firefighting fun!
This is a great game. Fairly easy to use. Some parts kind of keep you on the edge of your seat.
