The House of the Dead: Overkill takes place as Special Agent G the hero of The House Of The Dead series is given his first assignment fresh out of the AMS academy. Teamed up with hard-boiled Detective Washington, they are sent to investigate stories of mysterious disappearances in small-town Louisiana. Little do they know what blood-soaked mutant depravity awaits them in the streets and swamps of Bayou City?

3 Stars Good game, but horrible vulgar language
This game is a great shooter overall, but you may have to play it on mute. All the cut scenes have more of the f word than a Samuel Jackson movie. The language the characters use is right out of a bad B movie so be prepared for that. The game-play itself is pretty straightforward, you don’t control your character, you just do the shooting as the game moves you through the levels. There is little replay value once you have beaten the regular and directors cut versions, but it is fun to play with another person. So if you are looking for a shooter to play two-player this is a great game.
