5 Stars Tired to telling using strap?
I have Wii remote dock already but I was looking for Wii remote dock with charging with Nintendo original remote jacket. This unit absolutely solved my problem. How may times did you tell your kids to use strap? getting tired? Yes, I was. I’ve been telling my 7 and 4 years old son to useing strap when thy play but they keep forgetting. I assume they keep forgetting until they break 50″ big screen T.V. I don’t want see that!!
I know teaching kids and using strap is most important things but this is something worry less for small children using Wii remote to play with throwing action toward the T.V because You will never remove jacket anymore.
I ordered from amazon on 10/10/09 and arrived on 10/14/09. It was reasonable proce [...]. Charger looks great. When it’s charging red light on, if it’s done turn to green. It’s takes about 4.5hours to fully charged.
You can stand with Wii’s original jacket and Wii motion can be cahrged without taking off any parts.
I have wireless nunchuck “Kama” adaptor in the bottom of remote and charges no problem as well.
This is something hassul less, worry less, worth to pay only $29.99 with Amazon free shipping no tax.
4 Stars Excellent alternative to batteries for the wii
The energizer wii rechargeable battery station is just the solution needed for anyone with the wii motion attachment or who tires of changing batteries and having to remove the skin to do it. I have had my system for a month now and was a little worried before I got it because the reviews were so mixed. I have had no trouble with overheating. There are times when the remote registers as fully charged on the wii but it still has the charging indicator light on. But that has not seemed to be a problem.
My children played hours of speed racer and spiderman and I was sure I would have no charge left to play a round of tiger golf but there was plenty of charge left. It also does not seem to take very long to get enough of a charge to use for several hours.
The only two negatives I have is that in the upright position you must place the remote carefully as the strap can keep the remote away from the charger and prevent charging but paying attention is all that is required to overcome that. The other negative is that it would be great if Energizer sold the batteries separately so you could be charging a set while using another.
4 Stars Best charger I’ve tried so far
This is my fourth charger. I’ve had ones that charged fine before, but I get tired of not being able to charge without pulling out the straps or the sleeves. Since I have a 5 year old here I can’t run without them, so this was a good find for me.
Mine charged initially in about 5 hours or so, so not nearly as bad as some of the reviews. Charge lasts about as long as my previous charging system did, and I really can’t say how long it takes on average to recharge them since I just set them down and ignore them.
The ease is what makes this unit a winner over the other three I’ve had previously. Doesn’t get any easier than this…

Terrific product. Works well and charges quickly. You don’t have to remove the jacket and the Motion Plus is not a problem
3 Stars Not perfect, but okay
With the Wii motion attached, I was unable to get a consistent charge light when the charge station was in the standing position. Laying flat, it charges okay. The box and the product agree that the charging light is yellow whereas the manual says that it is red. I wish I could charge the remotes while they stand, but even with that limitation it was worth the purchase.
