Wii Bowling Ball

Turn every Wii bowling experience into a perfect 300 with the Bowling Ball for Wii. This ultra-realistic accessory, allows you to mimic all the critical motions a ’striking’ performance requires. This Wii peripheral is the first of its kind to be fashioned after an authentic bowling ball, turning your wii-mote into the optimum performance-enhancing accessory! To operate simply press the release button to open the ball in half, place the Wii remote (even with a Wii Motion Plus adapter, if you have one) inside and close the ball. Once the remote is set inside, plug the three holes with your fingers, as you would a bowling ball. Lastly, make sure to wear the wrist strap securely around your wrist, lock the strap to tighten the hold, preventing the ball from accidently flying out of your hand, and you are ready to bowl virtual strikes like a Pro! User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars very real to the feel
This is a lot of fun. Very real, good thing for the strap on the wrist. You want to throw the ball.

2 Stars Gutter Ball
When it has came down to CTA, they haven’t actually made some good access ories for Nintendo on the Wii, and some extra special ones for the Nintendo DSi. But there are some one that just feel like you’ve wasted your money on. That honestly is the case with the Wii Bowling Ball. This device while it might seem like a good idea, it actually feels like a bunch of loose pins. While the Wii-mote works well in the set, the problem is with the bowling ball attachment, and that it makes the gameplay much more difficult to master with Wii Sports and other great bowling titles. However, that isn’t it alone, the bowling ball honestly feels like a waste of money mastering your way to a strike in any bowling title. Not to also mention that some of the buttons on the ball, don’t honestly work as well as the Wii-mote does alone. I really suggest you absolutely pass this ball up, and try to strike alone with the Nintendo way.

1 Star Good concept… but not fully thought out
It appears that the marketing & research department at CTA concluded that only right handed people enjoy wii bowling because this accessory was clearly not designed for left handed people. For lefties, the B button needs to be used with either your ring finger or pinky which is highly uncomfortable and frustrating to use. If you’re left handed, either learn how to bowl right handed or skip this product.

1 Star The video makes it look like a great idea…
Pros –

It does give you the feel of bowling.

It’not heavy

The strap is perfect

Cons –

don’t expect to share – once you have the finger adapters set for your fingers it is a pain to swith with someone who is using different adapters.

The pacement of the B button is too low. My finger was hurting from the odd angle by the second game.

Great idea needs some disign fixes.

2 Stars Really pissed off sister.
The finger inserts are horrible in so many ways. First of all my 16 year old average weight brother cant fit into the advertised as “too fit any finger size” finger inserts. Second of all you have to change them out every time if someone has big fingers and the other person has small.

My brother and I come from a medium class family who cant afford bowling the 50 bucks minimum each week. He wanted to join a league wasn’t in the budget, saw this on yahoo news and thought WOW!. He cant used it properly because it is falsely advertised as can accommodate any finger size. Now I understand if the person is overweight or something but my brother is actually underweight. Seems like its for younger children or slimmer adults. Would love to purchase larger finger slips for him. Nintendo if you ever read this, please consider larger finger inserts, this really wasn’t cool. I know that you cannot afford to include them in every box, but I would be more than willing to pay extra money to make the kid happy.

He wasn’t your average 16 year old, and honestly this whole thing hurts. Most people are going to say stop complaining and return it. I don’t want to return it! I want him to be able to play with it. He has severe OCD and we just got him to play the Wii again after being afraid it had germs. He was so excited such a joy kill.

EA Sports Active Multiplayer Pack

EA Sports Active Multiplayer Pack

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star Poor design, poor quality
I purchased this package 4-1/2 months ago along with the Sports Active game. Today I noticed that the neoprene rubber backing on both of the leg bands is tearing along the seam at the end of the velcro strap. Each leg band has been used for approximately 24 workouts (equivalent to being worn for 12 hours). I contacted customer support and was told that EA’s official policy was that the bands would only be replaced under warranty within 90 days of purchase, no matter how little they were used before the damage was discovered. The customer support representative commented that this has been a very common failure and that the warranty department has been absolutely inflexible on the expiration of the warranty period.

The flaw in the design is obvious. The line of stitches places holes (which concentrate stress) along the edge of where the inflexible velcro strap meets the flexible neoprene backing. That promotes formation of rips starting at those holes. EA should fix the design and replace all of the bands of the old design that fail.

The resistance band is very soft and does not provide nearly enough resistance for most adults. I purchased a 3-pack of light/medium/heavy resistance bands from sporting goods store, and even the light band was significantly stiffer than the EA Sports band.

Since this kit includes only the faulty leg band, a useless resistance band, and some uncomfortable handles, I rate it a 1.

4 Stars Overall I enjoy it
I enjoy the customizable workouts very much. There are many, many fun exercises. My only concern is that while doing some of the leg workouts the sensor does not pick up the fact you’ve moved and it keeps telling you to follow the instructor even though you already are. That aspect is very frustrating so I’ve ended up skipping some of the exercises.

5 Stars wii sports review
This is a really neat way to try to get into shape. A lot of the exercises are used in the fitness world. My kids even liked it and the neighborhood kids were talking about wanting to get it and use it at their house. It you are looking at getting into shape, definitely try this!!

5 Stars EA Active is more fun with 2 people!!
EA Active is a good game and good motivational and interactive exercise program. The 30 day challange is a good daily work out. The game is even more fun with a partner to compete against.

5 Stars nice addition
The contents of this were included in the original purchase of the game. We wanted a second one so two people could work out together. This is the same good quality as the one that came with the game. It is nice to have a second set.

Wii Wireless Charging Power Base Quad

Wii Wireless Charging Power Base Quad

Wireless Charging Power Base Quad for Nintendo Wii?, Charge up to 4 Wiimotes? simultaneously, even with silicone sleeves covering them, Features LED charge indicators that indicate Wiimote?s? charging status

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Too cllo item
I don’t know how this works, but we love it, no need for batteries any more, just site it on top and let it do its thing. We found that when they get charged to turn it off because the flashing light gets annoying. To simple to use.

5 Stars Wii Wireless Charger
I read all the reviews and though I was a little concerned by the few one star ratings, I decided to order this charger. We had a standard 2-socket charger that required removal of the protective jackets before charging. Also, we had recently purchased Wii Sports Resort and an additional Motion Plus add-on. The regular jackets are enough of a hassle to remove, and the Motion Plus are especially tricky for our youngest. So far, it has been an excellent charger. It took a few hours for the batteries to get their initial charge (sorry, I should have timed it, but I didn’t). Like other reviewers, I, too, found the flasing LEDs a little intense. We simply remove the remote when the charge is complete. The charger works great with the jackets on. The LEDs dim and brighten to indicate whether the remote is positioned for the best performance – it may take a moment or two to get it just right. We have used the remotes for over 2 hours at a time and still had juice remaining. I am extremely pleased with this product.

5 Stars Great Charger, keeps the Wii Remote ready for action!
Had this quad charger for a few weeks now and love it! My kids play the crap out of the Wii and this has probably already saved us as much in battery costs as the purchase price. The charges last a long time and it’s simple enough to use the kids actually use it. You don’t have to remove the jacket, motion plus, nunchuck, etc., just lay it on top of the charging base and walk away. Power button on the front is nice if you don’t want four flashing blue lights annoying you when the remotes are all topped off.

5 Stars Great purchase
We love this charging station. It has been reliable and we particularly like that we can leave the sleeves on. Well worth the money, a no regret purchase! It charges quickly and even our little kids can understand the blue lights!

4 Stars Works Well
The flashing blue lights will drive you bonkers, but this thing otherwise works great. I get about 5-8 hours of play per charge, per battery.

Feel the suspense of the NFL as you battle your opponent in a fast-paced mini-game to recover a game-changing fumble

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars great game
My 8 yr old used the codes posted on here to unlock everything. he says its a fun game. the teams are changed from the 2009 version.

4 Stars Good, Simple Fun
First of all, so many reviews of this game here are negative because the reviewers assumed Franchise and Superstar modes weren’t included. But they are unlockables and can be unlocked by typing the following codes…

Franchise Mode: TEAMPLAYER

Superstar Mode: EGOBOOST

Situation Mode: YOUCALLIT

Super Bowl Stadium: THEBIGSHOW

Pro Bowl Stadium: ALLSTARS

Master Code (unlocks everything): THEWORKS

That being said, I have played every Madden on Wii so far and find this one the most enjoyable. The menus are now slick and polished, and I would say the same about the gameplay itself. The control schemes are the same except the option to “Point and Pass” has now been included, which I think is a nice option to have. The internet games run without glitches and still do not require friend codes, which is great. After buying this game I would definitely recommend it to those who appreciate good, fun gaming.

5 Stars Well worth it
I had pre-ordered this before it was released and the wait was worth it. Even though the players were re-designed for the Wii version the look and feel of football is real. My 8 year-old son enjoys it and he continues to beat me. Online play is good with a fast & reliable high-speed connection.

4 Stars Grandson’s Love It
Despite the negative reviews, I purchased Madden 10 for my grandson’s. I can’t attest to the graphics, etc., but they have enjoyed it very much and that’s all that matters.

5 Stars Best game of football on the Wii, period
Best football game ever made for the Wii. For the first time, it actually looks like a Madden game should for the platform. The graphics are great, the gameplay is awesome, and although the controls are different than previous versions, they are well thought out and intuitive. Point and Pass takes a little bit to get use to but is a huge improvement once you get it down.

Game modes are a ton of fun, especially if you have friends over. The games are fast paced and entertaining. 5 on 5 mode is awesome this year without the Mario looking field and stadium, and the players don’t have the creepy big heads this time around. Online is also a blast, hopefully they make 5 on 5 mode playable online next year…

Overall the best football game on the Wii by far. Great graphics for the platform and great gameplay. The people slamming this our hardcore players who want a simulation football game on the Wii, which just really doesn’t make much sense.

Replacement Nintendo DS AC Adapter

Replacement Nintendo DS AC Adapter

GAMEBOY ADVANCE/NINTENDO DS WALL CHARGER

User Ratings and Reviews

1 Star U-N-B-E-L-I-E-V-A-B-L-E !!!! Welcome to hell….

One thing that drives people crazy is when others do not do their job! This is one of those cases where no attention to details or thought in their job comes into play. Very very disappointing.

The wrong part has been shipped twice!

3 Stars It works
The charger i got looks different than the picture. There’s a bright red LED on the transformer and the prongs don’t fold in.

That said, the product works great and the price was good. Had the picture been of what I got in the box, I would’ve bought it anyways.

4 Stars quick shipping
This was very easy to purchase and was sent very quickley. Unfortunately I didn’t realize that I had a DS lite instead of just a DS and the adapter didn’t fit, but I was able to use it for something else. Amazon is GREAT!

4 Stars Be aware of differences between DS and DS Lite
My nephews were visiting and lost the cord to their Nintendo DS Lite. I decided to buy them a new one. They had no idea there was a difference in the connection between the Nintendo DS and the Nintendo DS Lite. I didn’t even know there were two types of DS’s. So I bought this connector and since it was made for the DS and not the DS Lite, it didn’t work. I was told to ship it back for a refund, but shipping costs as much as the product itself so I am now stuck with a useless cord. My advice is this… when buying an adapter for the DS Lite make sure you see the word “Lite” otherwise it probably has the wrong type of connector.

5 Stars It works …. and it’s cheap.
Yes, it’s a knock off. Yes, it’s different than pictured…

…but it works! It charges up my daughters Nintendo DS –what else matters ??

As a plus, it only cost .01 + 2.98 shipping, for a grand total of $2.99 !! At this price if it only last a month, it’s well worth the price…
