5 Stars Most Fun An Old Man Can Have By Himself
I’ll leave all the inside details and descriptions to the “techies.” Just know that this is the best football video game ever. If you’re having a hard time surviving the off-season, this is the cure. GO VIKINGS!

4 Stars good
got this game when it came out, online= theirs almost no lag, almost same game from last year, create your play thingy is an awesome feature.its not what everybody says that it has big heads that’s only 5 vs 5 mode which is a pretty neat feature graphics are a little bland but better from last year. few more days till madden 10 comes out but this is a great price for people who dont have the money to get madden 10

5 Stars The Best Madden Yet
I bought this last night, begrudingly. I had read the reviews over the last few years, and I knew that Madden was just cold. Having never played a Wii before, I didn’t know what I was in for. After a short setup, it looked to be pretty much the same, (I haven’t played Madden since 2006) actually the same as Nba, and Mlb. But the all that usual stuff aside, (yes, the graphics aren’t as good as the 360, the play by play is repetitive, blah blah.) it is really a fun game to play. The touchdown celebration, was over the top fun, (you have to dance around like a maniac, to get power ups for your player). Since I don’t buy sports games the year they come out I get the prev. year (cheaper that way, and since you a can trade willy nilly you can make your team), I may have to get Madden 10.

5 Stars best wii sports game of the century
this hgame has every thing.Even though xbox 360 and the ps3 versions are better this game has franchise, superstar, party, play now, 5 on 5, online modes. It has the call your shots, telestrator, celebrations, and 5 on 5 mode which is excusive for this system. overall, amazing game for the wii but if you have an x box 360 or a ps3 buy it on that system

4 Stars Are you ready for some football?
The last Football video game I owned was madden for the super nindendo. All I can say is wow . The graphics on this game are great the sounds awesome. If you were in the other room you would swear the person was watching a real football game. All the extras are fun too- trainning camp- 5 on 5 backyard football is fun. (Franchise)running your own team. I was amazed they could fit that all on one video game.I still remember playing my 2600 atari football with only 5 guys on a team and (sad to say by todays standard graphics) but still having a great time this game blows it away 100 times over and over. My only complaint is the instruction manual is not very informative. With all this game can do you think they would have taken the time to show step by step all the different game modes. Alot of things I had to find by trial and error. I wish they would have considered those of us who are not as game savy as others, but still a great game and for the price you can’t beat it.GO STEELERS!!!!!!!

Rock Band Drum Silencers

Rock Band Drum Silencers

Easy and effective way to eliminate excess impact noise / Can be removed without damaging drums / For Nintendo Wii, Xbox 360, Playstation 2 and 3

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Silence is relative
These pads aren’t magic. They won’t silence your drum hits, and they won’t give you the bounce of a real drum head. However, they’re definitely an improvement over the stock drums, and their price is good.

I went ahead and popped off the drum heads and unscrewed the rims, and I’d recommend that for anyone else considering these. Other reviews can give you better instructions on that.

5 Stars they do what they’re meant to
The drum silencers work great. They drastically reduce the noise while playing Rock Band, making it an even more enjoyable experience.

2 Stars Don’t buy unless you hit them hard!!
So I recieved the silencers yesterday and tried them out this morning. The silencers are kind of a hassle to put on and I actually during the proccess I found out that my yellow drum pad was broken. The pads DO reduce the sound A LOT. After I installed the silencers and re-glued the yellow pad I tested the silencers on the song “Maps” on RB 1. If you’ve played this song before you know it has a lot of drums. On this song I usually get 98-99 percent playing on medium and hard and I got 79 percent. I noticed during the song that the drums were not recognising a lot of my hits unless I hit pretty hard. This probably won’t be a problem for all those hard core drummers who hit the pads hard. Now I had to buy new drums because the silencers will not come off without leaving behind a sticky mess and my yellow pad is busted. IF YOU’RE LIKE ME AND PLAY ON MEDIUM-HARD AND HIT AVERAGELY HARD DO NOT BUY THESE. If you play on Hard to Expert and wail on those drums then these are a good idea. Oh I almost forgot… the pads add a bit of bounciness to drum rolls but it doesn’t matter since they don’t even register!! Overall do not buy these.

-Zach

5 Stars Not thrilling but good
Yes it dose reduce the noise, it gives a good feeling when you hit the

drum, but sometimes it makes you skip a beat!

4 Stars Works as expected
Purchased these drum silencers back in 2008. They work as expected and were installed without any modifications. The sound of the drumming is reduced and they do not seem to have affected the game play (Wii). I recommend this product.

Resident Evil Archives Resident Evil

Since its beginnings on the PlayStation 2 in 1996, Resident Evil has been one of the most popular and prolific franchises in video game history. Now Capcom’s Resident Evil Archives gives Wii gamers the opportunity to play classic Resident Evil games released over the series’ 13-year history that they may have missed, and at a great value price. The first of these games is the original Resident Evil, re-released as Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil.

A Classic Reborn
Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil is the original 2002 Resident Evil port for the Nintendo GameCube. In addition to all the content from the original 1996 PlayStation 2 version, it also features the additional rooms, areas, items and creatures that made the GameCube release an instant classic.

Story
The Raccoon City Police Department doesn’t know what happened to the Special Tactics and Rescue Service (S.T.A.R.S.) Team it sent out to investigate the Arclay Mountain area on the outskirts of the city, where a number of people have recently gone missing. The unit’s helicopter seems to have crashed in the woods, and it hasn’t received any contact from the squad since. The department decides to dispatch another S.T.A.R.S. unit, the Alpha team, to check things out. But something goes terribly wrong, which is code for “Zombies!”

Gameplay
In Resident Evil Archives: Resident Evil players on the Wii take control of S.T.A.R.S. Alpha team members Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine (both recently seen in the smash hit, Resident Evil 5). With unspeakable horrors lurking around every corner, the ultimate test will be to make it out alive. Relive the thrills and terror that defined the genre of Survival Horror and launched a franchise that has sold over 40 million games worldwide.

New Controls and Endings
In Resident Evil for the Wii, players now have a wide range of control options, including the Wii Remote and nunchuck in combination, which lets players shake the remote to ready their weapons. In addition, the game features more than 10 different game endings. These unique endings are entirely dependent upon the decisions and actions of the player and provide for maximum replayability.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars Still worth your time….
it is what it is…. still an xcellent port that deserves your attention… fan or not.

5 stars, nuff said.

1 Star this was pretty much an exact copy of the orignal
this was pretty much an exact copy of the orignal. i thought that it would’ve been up-dated to take advantage of the wii like (Like RE4), and boy was i wrong. it’s the same game, with the same clunky controls, and the same messed up camera views. i was really dissapointed. if you already have this game for any other platfrom, do not waste your time and money!

4 Stars RE Review
I’m so glad that Resident Evil has returned to the Wii.It’s even better than before, since the Wii controls are easier to handle, and there are new areas to explore.Resident Evil 4 set a very high bar that Nintendo will have a hard time reaching, but they’ve done a fine job with this one.

2 Stars UCK
I liked Res Evil 4 and got this one and I just don’t like it. I mailed it to my sister because I disliked it so much. I DID like that you could choose to be a female character but I have the same complaints as others (and THOUGHT I could get passed) about the controls. I like the character to be right in front of me and I am shooting from behind it. I don’t like watching my character from a distance. Just preference.

4 Stars The old made new
So this game is almost exactly like Resident Evil 1. You still have trouble seeing enemies coming at you down the other end of the hallway. There are puzzles everywhere, and only limited inventory space, and limited ammo.

They did some things right though. The graphics are obviously much better. They got rid of the terrible acting job of the original and even managed to alter the set up of the mansion just a little. This game is for those who want to play the original without having to suffer through out dated graphics and bad acting. After having recently played the Director’s Cut on the PS3, I wasn’t in much of a mood to play the remake all over again. One of these days I’ll go back and play it.

Gameplay
You make the whole story, as you and up to three other players move into a town and just live life. Befriend your animal neighbors, decorate your house with cool furnishings, fill up your wardrobe, get to know the local wildlife, hop on a bus to visit the new city and just explore the world. There are a million different ways to play. Every charming animal character has a personality: some are grouches while others are chatterboxes. And there’s no final goal or high score to hit. The game keeps going for as long as you want to play, and your town will always be there when you return. Move into town, buy a house and then do whatever you want. Time and seasons pass as they do in the real world, so there’s always something different happening. Collect more than 2,400 items, go fishing for rare and interesting fish, catch all kind of cool bugs, dig up dinosaur fossils and buried treasure, hang out with other players or spend the day in the city. There’s so much to do, and you have all the time in the world to explore it all.

DS Suitcase Mode
The DS Suitcase lets you carry your character from your Wii console to a friend’s, thus giving people without an Internet connection the ability to experience multiplayer modes. Additionally, you can move your character from Animal Crossing: Wild World on Nintendo DS and play as him/her in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Key Game Features

  • There’s Always Something New To Do: In the living, breathing world of Animal Crossing: City Folk, days and seasons pass in real time, so there’s always something to discover. Catch fireflies in the summer, go trick-or-treating on Halloween or hunt for eggs on Bunny Day. If you’re in the mood for something a little faster paced, take a bus to a new urban city area that’s unique to Animal Crossing: City Folk. There you can catch a show at the theater or check out the sales at Gracie’s boutique. But if you don’t show your face back home for too long, your neighbors will miss you.
  • Play With and Hear Up to Four Friends: Up to four people from your household can live and work together to build the perfect town. Design clothes and patterns, write letters and post messages on the bulletin board for each other, or play online using your broadband connection and invite up to three friends to visit your town using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. With the new optional Wii Speak microphone (sold separately), it’s like you’re all in the same room. The microphone sits atop the sensor bar and picks up the conversation of everyone in the room to encourage a more inclusive experience.
  • Get to Know Your Neighbors: The heart of Animal Crossing: City Folk is building relationships with the animals in your town as well as with other players. Befriend your animal neighbors by exchanging letters, gifts and favors. Animals can also move from town to town, bringing their memories and stories from their old towns with them. And since animals are notoriously loose-lipped, they spill all the juicy details.
  • Express Your Personal Style: Customize your town, your house and yourself by collecting bugs, fish, fossils, art, furniture, clothes and accessories. You can also go to the salon in the city to change your hairstyle and get a Mii makeover. Plus, if you design clothes in the tailor’s shop, animals will wear them and maybe even bring them to other towns.

Your Neighbors
Familiar faces such as K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Blathers and Mr. Resetti all appear, as well as a bunch of new characters like Festivale host Pav

Star Wars The Force Unleashed

Star Wars The Force Unleashed

The Star Wars saga will continue in Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, a videogame developed by LucasArts, which casts players as Darth Vader’s “Secret Apprentice” and promises to unveil new revelations about the Star Wars galaxy. The expansive story, created under direction from George Lucas, is set during the largely unexplored era between Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope. In it, players will assist the iconic villain in his quest to rid the universe of Jedi – and face decisions that could change the course of their destiny.

As its name implies, The Force Unleashed completely re-imagines the scope and scale of the Force. The Wii version will not only give you a solid story-line developed by LucasArts involving the Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, but you’ll experience a new style of gameplay only the Wii can offer. With the Wiimote and Nunchuck you’ll be able to battle your way through your enemies utilizing your Lightsaber attacks and Force powers. Not only can you experience this new control system in story mode, but you can also try your Jedi skills against a friend in the Wii, “Battle Mode.” Joining the Dark Side doesn’t seem like such a bad idea after all.

Game Features:

  • During the period between Episodes III and IV, players hunt Jedi in the role of Darth Vader’s Secret Apprentice.
  • Unleash and upgrade the Secret Apprentice’s four core Force powers – Force push, grip, repulse and lightning – throughout the course of the game, and combine them for ultra-destructive, never-before-seen combos.
  • Examples of unleashing the Force in ways never thought possible:
    • The Secret Apprentice won’t just Force push enemies into walls – he’ll Force push enemies through walls.
    • The Secret Apprentice won’t just Force grip foes to throw them aside – he’ll Force grip them in midair, zap them with lightning, then drop them to the ground to explode like a bomb.
  • In addition to new adversaries created just for the game, such as fugitive Jedi and Force-sensitive Felucians, players will also confront and associate with familiar faces from the Star Wars films, including Darth Vader.
  • Visit locations such as Episode III’s Wookiee homeworld Kashyyyk and the floral Felucia, the junk planet Raxus Prime, plus an Imperial TIE fighter construction facility.
  • The Wii system’s “Battle Mode,” a one on one fighting arena simliar to the classic game, Star Wars: Masters of Ter
