5 Stars Great Wii charge station
This is a great charge station for the WII and handles 4 controllers at once. Works great. Sleek looking.

I am very pleased with this purchase.

5 Stars Very nice, but seems to have loose connection.
So far it works great, except that you often have to move/jiggle the cable to get it to make contact for all of the charging bays. You have to remove the gel sleeves and the motion-plus attachment, but not the wrist strap. We’ve found that if you just pull the wrist strap up tightly and place the wii-mote in the charging bays the contact is almost always good to go.

Gameplay
You make the whole story, as you and up to three other players move into a town and just live life. Befriend your animal neighbors, decorate your house with cool furnishings, fill up your wardrobe, get to know the local wildlife, hop on a bus to visit the new city and just explore the world. There are a million different ways to play. Every charming animal character has a personality: some are grouches while others are chatterboxes. And there’s no final goal or high score to hit. The game keeps going for as long as you want to play, and your town will always be there when you return. Move into town, buy a house and then do whatever you want. Time and seasons pass as they do in the real world, so there’s always something different happening. Collect more than 2,400 items, go fishing for rare and interesting fish, catch all kind of cool bugs, dig up dinosaur fossils and buried treasure, hang out with other players or spend the day in the city. There’s so much to do, and you have all the time in the world to explore it all.

DS Suitcase Mode
The DS Suitcase lets you carry your character from your Wii console to a friend’s, thus giving people without an Internet connection the ability to experience multiplayer modes. Additionally, you can move your character from Animal Crossing: Wild World on Nintendo DS and play as him/her in Animal Crossing: City Folk.

Key Game Features

  • There’s Always Something New To Do: In the living, breathing world of Animal Crossing: City Folk, days and seasons pass in real time, so there’s always something to discover. Catch fireflies in the summer, go trick-or-treating on Halloween or hunt for eggs on Bunny Day. If you’re in the mood for something a little faster paced, take a bus to a new urban city area that’s unique to Animal Crossing: City Folk. There you can catch a show at the theater or check out the sales at Gracie’s boutique. But if you don’t show your face back home for too long, your neighbors will miss you.
  • Play With and Hear Up to Four Friends: Up to four people from your household can live and work together to build the perfect town. Design clothes and patterns, write letters and post messages on the bulletin board for each other, or play online using your broadband connection and invite up to three friends to visit your town using Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. With the new optional Wii Speak microphone (sold separately), it’s like you’re all in the same room. The microphone sits atop the sensor bar and picks up the conversation of everyone in the room to encourage a more inclusive experience.
  • Get to Know Your Neighbors: The heart of Animal Crossing: City Folk is building relationships with the animals in your town as well as with other players. Befriend your animal neighbors by exchanging letters, gifts and favors. Animals can also move from town to town, bringing their memories and stories from their old towns with them. And since animals are notoriously loose-lipped, they spill all the juicy details.
  • Express Your Personal Style: Customize your town, your house and yourself by collecting bugs, fish, fossils, art, furniture, clothes and accessories. You can also go to the salon in the city to change your hairstyle and get a Mii makeover. Plus, if you design clothes in the tailor’s shop, animals will wear them and maybe even bring them to other towns.

Your Neighbors
Familiar faces such as K.K. Slider, Tom Nook, Blathers and Mr. Resetti all appear, as well as a bunch of new characters like Festivale host Pav

4 Stars pokemon battle revolution
i got this games today and here is what i think…

pros:

poketopia awesome

graphics great

cool characters and places to battle

cons:

more strategy than action

trainers not really customizable at first

battles sometimes annoying

takes far too long getting to finals in coluseum mode

5 Stars THIS IS A MUST HAVE!
PLEASE BUY THIS TITLE FOR YOUR GAMER, LOT’S OF ACTION ONE OF THOSE GREAT GAME’S FOR THE Wii,PLEASE TRUST ME ON THIS ONE.

4 Stars Repetitive.
This game is for true battlers. There is no story, all you do is battle. It’s not like Colloseum or XD,it’s more like Stadium. It can get repetitive, since you’re just battling.

But,it’s still a good game for Pokemon fans. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you own Diamond,Pearl,or Platinum, though.

You can also get some cool Pokemon, like a surfing Pikachu.

2 Stars Not worth your time or money
This game is basically an excuse for you to see your Pokemon fight in 3D. That’s all you can do. There are no mini-games like in the Pokemon Stadium games, and there CERTAINLY isn’t any story mode for you to play, like Pokemon Colosseum and XD for the Gamecube. Just battling Pokemon on the big screen. It just gets repetitive after a while, and for the lack of features in this game, it’s just not worth the price. Maybe if the game was [...], but not for its current price.

Oh, and if you don’t have a Pokemon game for the DS(Diamond, Peral, Platinum), then you’re pretty much screwed.

3 Stars If you own Diamond/Pearl/Platinum, get it. If you don’t, don’t
It’s sad that to this day, Nintendo has yet to release a quality Pok

4 Stars A Nice Memory Card For Back-Up But No True Use For Anything Else
I got this because like so many other people I thought this would help a lot with my virtual games and save games as well. It does clean up a lot of the clutter on the Wii if you’re not playing a certain game and want to remove the data from your Wii’s memory but don’t want to take a a chance and lose any data when you do erase it from the Wii’s memory. Also like a few reviewers have said you cant move saved game data from the gamecube memory cards to the Wii’s SD card nor can you load saved game data directly from it if your playing a game which is a little inconvenient. But the one good thing is the space on the memory card means you’ll probably only have to buy one for a pretty long time before having to get another one and yes even though price is pretty step for this card. One other thing though if you go for the regular Sandisk memory card you cannot get the Sandisk HC card one these cards will not work on the Wii console I had a friend who bought one to try it out and found out this way. So all I can say for this item is if you’re looking to make more room on your Wii console memory this card is a good backup to use…

1 Star Other SD Cards are cheaper
Hey everyone. I just bought the Wii and read somewhere that you HAVE to use a Wii SD Card. So I was kinda ticked off about it consider how much they are.

I recently bought a 2gig SD Kingston memory card for $2 online and I tried it out in the Wii.

It works fine. You do not need to buy the Wii SD Card. Your just paying for the name. Any SD Card is fine.

You can pick them up pretty much anywhere for really cheap. Especially right now due to the Holiday sales.

I just wanted to share my results.

Good luck gaming!

1 Star Hey Nintendo, thanks for ripping us off some more!
As if paying $250-$300 for your Wii system, $20 for an extra Nunchuk, $35 for an extra Wii remote, and a good $30-$50 for a new game isn’t bad enough, now Nintendo wants to rip off the uninformed some more and charge you $15 or $20 for an official Wii 2 GB SD card. I love Nintendo as much as the next gamer, but really, this is a bit ridiculous. Why pay a minimum of fifteen dollars for one of these things when you can buy a regular 2 GB SD card that will cost you somewhere between six and eight dollars and will work and function exactly the same? Just because this card says “Wii” on the front and is white instead of your traditional blue doesn’t make it any better. Nintendo’s just out to make a few more bucks with this thing. If you’re thinking of getting one of these cards, do yourself a favor: skip over this one and buy a standard SD card instead. It’ll work just as well, and will cost you half as much.

1 Star The Whole Scoop on SD cards for the Wii
I’m writing this review to clear up any confusion regarding SD cards for the Nintendo Wii:

1. Any brand of SD card will work in the Wii; more reliable brands like Sandisk will also be more reliable in the Wii.

2. There is absolutely NO DIFFERENCE between this card and a standard SD card from Sandisk, except for price. The only reason you should buy this over a standard 2 GB card is if you’re willing to pay about five times more for the “Wii” label (2 GB Sandisk cards are about $6 on Amazon as of this writing).

3. The Wii can support up to 8 GB cards, so go buy an 8 GB card for this same price if you want to spend this much. If SD cards that hold more than 8 GB are ever sold, the Wii will not support them unless Nintendo updates its firmware to do so.

4. IMPORTANT: Although it seems like a great idea to have a huge memory card to hold Virtual Console games, WiiWare, and save files, these types of files CANNOT be used directly from SD card storage in the Wii. They must be in the Wii system memory to be played, and Virtual Console and WiiWare games can be re-downloaded at any time, so a large SD card will not be particularly useful for this type of data. What an SD card will be useful for is moving save files from Wii to Wii, storing music and photos that can be accessed by the Wii, and storing special types of data that certain games(Like Super Smash Brothers) will allow you to store on an SD card rather than system memory. Unless Nintendo updates the Wii firmware to allow for save file and Virtual Console/WiiWare gameplay straight from the card, a large SD card won’t be very useful.

I hope this helped some of you. Now go buy a regular SD card for cheap!

2 Stars sandisk for wii
My 12 year old bought this to help with his games. Neither of us could get it to work even after going through several sets of instructions. Don’t feel I can rate the product fairly, though the instructions are quite poorly written
